Be an Urban Planner 1


Out of the Box #1: Be an Urban Planner

20th-23rd Nov, 1-2 PM, $280 for 4 sessions, includes activity box, for ages 4-6 years old, conducted in English

Build the tallest structure with flower blocks, construct the city of your dreams with playtape! In this holiday programme, kids put on their thinking caps and try their hand at being urban planners and mini-architects. With a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and skills, the programme helps children learn about themselves and designing for others.

Out of the Box #2: Be an Engineer

20th-23rd Nov, 3-4 PM, $280 for 4 sessions, includes activity box, for ages 7-9 years old, conducted in English

In this holiday programme, kids learn about their inner worlds and how to express themselves. They also delve into the inner workings of helicopters and circuits to gain a deeper understanding of how things work.

Amazing Race
4th-8th Dec, 9.30 – 11.30 AM,
$481.5 with GST, for ages K-Primary 4 2018, conducted in Mandarin

Incorporating artful play with Mandarin as medium of instruction, your child will stomp out forces of destruction and overcome Mandarin with holistic learning and positive social behaviours through collaborative problem solving, tasty food art, sensory play and getting out of their maze of comfort, defeating the powers of darkness!

Discover Me Multi-Activity Holiday Camp, 18th-22nd Dec, 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM
$350 for 5 sessions, for ages 5-8 years old, conducted in English

Expose your kids to new learning opportunities, enabling them to discover new skills and interest!
Across 5 days, in this curated multi-activity camp by Smarter Me and Trehaus, that marries art, science, engineering and entrepreneurship, kids will:

1. Learn to build and design their own race car, applying knowledge of gravity and speed in a final race off
2. Express their creativity in a 2D art piece using mixed media
3. Be amazed by the wonders of science, through fun experiments, and
4. Kick start their journey into entrepreneurship by understanding money matters and honing sales and presentation skills!

Smarter Me has brought together 4 specialist educators in art, engineering, science and early childhood to ensure kids leave this camp happy and with newfound knowledge and confidence.

Little Programmers, 11th-15th Dec, 8:30-11:30 AM,
$645 for 5 sessions – $595 Early Bird! (Tablet Provided – Twin Sharing),
for ages 4-6 years old, conducted in English

Stories x Coding: Nursery Rhymes, Stories, Adventures and more! From Monday – Friday, kids will learn how to code with a new story every day! With familiar favourites inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Five Little Monkeys and more, kids get to dramatise and program each other to act out the iconic scenes in the book, followed by putting it together in a digital tablet animation*! Our proprietary, award-winning MIT-inspired curriculum builds up your child’s understanding of the coding language and inspires them to think logically. Your child will be able to understand how to use coding blocks and sequence them in the right manner to form a story or a mini game. Concepts such as loops, motion and Events will be incorporated in class, in a way that the children will pick it up in a natural and fun way, all with minimal screen time. Through a combination of Reading, Drama, Kinaesthetic learning and craftwork, your child will learn computational thinking and problem-solving in a novel and exciting manner. There will be special tinkering sessions on selected days where surprise tech gadgets are brought in for kids to tinker with (Think: mBot Robot car / Cubetto – it’ll be a surprise!)
